I'm Neel Gavit, a Mumbai-based advertising and commercial photographer.

Originally from Jawhar, Maharashtra, my interest in art and expression began at a young age.

I studied Fine Arts at the Sir J. J. School of Applied Arts. Through the various art forms I've explored there, I discovered my artistic style, created my own path, and realised that photography and its nuances keep me hooked.

Post-graduation, I assisted many commercial photographers, such as Mr. Kunal Kampani and Mr. Mihir Hardikar. Through my four years of assistantship experience, I sharpened my skills—from ideation to post-production—and created visuals that capture my subject's essence without compromising its commercial aspect.

Each visual on my website results from thoughtful planning and creative execution, seeking to charm and tell a story.

Looking ahead, I'm committed to continuing this journey of exploration and growth in photography and taking on projects that excite me—location-based shoots, artistic portrait shoots, concept explorations and artistic photography—bringing a fresh perspective to every project.
